What is the All On 4 Implant Technique?
All On 4 is a fast and highly reliable surgical procedure applied to completely edentulous patients or cases where all teeth need to be extracted. While traditional methods require 6 to 8 implants per jaw for a fixed prosthesis, the All On 4 technique allows for fixed teeth on the entire jaw using only 4 titanium implants placed at special angles.
In this technique, 2 straight implants are placed in the anterior part of the jaw, and 2 angled implants are placed in the posterior parts to avoid anatomical spaces (sinus cavity and nerve canals). The biggest advantage is that your temporary fixed teeth are placed on the same day the surgery is performed. You never leave the clinic without teeth.

How Does the All On 4 Treatment Process Work?
3D Tomography and Digital Planning
First, your jawbone is scanned with 3D volumetric tomography. The areas and angles where implants will be placed are planned down to the millimeter in a computer environment. Your temporary teeth are prepared in advance by taking your measurements.
Surgical Procedure and Temporary Teeth
Under local anesthesia (or sedation if desired), any remaining problematic teeth are extracted, and 4 implants are placed in the jaw in the same session. Immediately after surgery, your pre-prepared fixed temporary teeth are screwed onto the implants.
Placement of Permanent Aesthetic Teeth
An average of 3 months is waited for the implants to fuse completely with the bone. At the end of this period, your temporary teeth are removed, and your permanent porcelain or zirconium teeth, designed to perfectly suit your face, are placed.
